Tools For a Grateful Heart

by | May 3, 2020 | Gratitude

What are you grateful for today? Increase your gratitude by writing down what
you are grateful for at the end of each day. Go back through your day, beginning
with your morning and write down each thing you may not have noticed. I’m
grateful for the electricity that blends my morning smoothie and for all the
healthy and delicious ingredients that make me feel good.
Writing this down is a great way to remember the blessings you have received
and the good things you have done or given to yourself. It reinforces the new
habit and good feelings you want to cultivate. It’s like pushing the elevator button
to the top, going from feeling down with negative thoughts and feelings to going
up with positive thoughts and feelings.
When you’re in a state of gratitude, you’re saying ‘yes’ to life! You feel more
uplifted and you may become motivated to express more of yourself in some way
such as through an artistic avenue or work. You may want to give in some way
that spreads the feeling of gratitude.
When I’m in a state of gratitude, I want to share with others what I’m feeling. I
want to spend time with a friend. When I’m feeling grateful, I want to spread the
feelings of abundance and blessings that I’ve received. How do you like to express
gratitude? Let me hear from you!
