The Universal Law of Cause and Effect

by | May 17, 2019 | Universal Principals & Laws

Have you ever heard the phrase, ‘What goes around, comes around’ or as stated in the New Testament, ‘Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap?’

These are very common terms that are referring to the Law of ‘Cause and Effect’. It encompasses the principle that nothing in the Universe can ever happen by chance. For everything that happens, in other words for every effect, there is always a corresponding cause preceding it.

When you understand and apply this Principle you begin to become aware of the consequences of your thoughts, words, and actions. You may ask, ‘Why do I want to do that?’ So you can stop the perpetual negativity that comes your way.

I know it’s sometimes hard not to feel victimized if someone treats you poorly. But it’s important for your own happiness that you don’t let that person affect your state of mind for too long. That just perpetuates more of the same treatment from others. When you can rise above negativity, you can draw more harmonious relationships to you.

The moral of the post: Think before you speak or take any action. When you put out negativity, it comes back to you. When you stay positive, that also comes back to you.

‘He who seeks vengeance must dig two graves: one for his enemy and one for himself.’ – Chinese Proverb
